New Child Care Center and Group Child Care Homes Regulations and Updated Forms

The Office of Early Childhood (OEC) has released a memo on January 14, 2025 about the updated rules for child care centers and group child care homes. These changes took effect on October 16, 2024. All providers were notified right away and received:

• A plain language summary of the changes

• A link to the full updated regulations

What Providers Should Do

• Review the updated regulations with all staff

• Share the changes with your health and education consultants

• Look at the new forms and sample policies now posted on our website

• Update your own policies and forms as needed
