Early Childhood Cabinet

The CT Early Childhood Cabinet’s purpose is to develop a high-quality, comprehensive system of early childhood education among the wide array of early childhood programs in the state (including Head Start, child care and School Readiness). The CT Early Childhood Cabinet plays a key role in advancing the integration of services to young children and families.

The cabinet brings together leaders and advocates from across the state. It includes members from state government, higher education, child care, nonprofit and community organizations, and Connecticut families. See a list of our current members.
