2020 Strategic Plan
This document is OEC’s north star. It outlines our broad goals and has guided our work from 2016 through 2020. We based it on research, best practices, and the input of families, teachers, providers, and many others in Connecticut. Read OEC’s 2020 Strategic Plan.
Early Care and Education Action Plan
To help prioritize our work toward the goals outlined in our 2020 Strategic Plan, we created the Action Plan. It outlines four key Action Areas with specific pain points, supporting data, and next steps. Read the Action Plan.
Birth to Three Performance Plans
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) mandates that each state submit a six-year performance plan. Go to the Birth to Three website to see the current plan.
Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) plans
The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) is a federal program that helps low income families pay for child care. In Connecticut, CCDF offers this funding through Care4Kids. Go to our CCDF page.
Connecticut Home Visiting Plan for Families with Young Children
