OEC will pay background check fees through 2025

OEC has extended the time it will cover background check processing fees for applications.

While originally scheduled to end this month, the fees will now be covered through December 31, 2025.

Starting on January 1, 2026, OEC will no longer pay for background checks. Providers (or applicants) will be responsible for paying the entire fee. In order for OEC to pay for the background check, fingerprints must be taken by January 1, 2026.
