Last updated January 13, 2020

This course is designed for Connecticut licensed child care centers and group child care homes that do not participate in the federal Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), and other non-participating child care providers interested in learning more about the CACFP. In this course, you will learn about the CACFP’s purpose, eligibility requirements, benefits of participation, and nutrition standards (meal patters). If your program participates in the CACFP, you do not need to take this course.  The course is called CT-OEC102 The USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Nutrition Standards: Implications for Licensed CT Child Care Centers and Group Homes.  To access the course, log in to your free OEC Registry account (www.ccacregistry.org) and click Online Training from the left menu to access free online training.  Go to Register for Professional Development Courses and pick CT Health and Safety Training for the Course Category drop down toward the top of the page.
