New Youth Camp Licensing Regulations Approved-Effective September 1, 2017

On July 24, 2017, the Legislative Regulation Review Committee approved the revisions to the youth camp licensing regulations. The Office of Early Childhood (OEC) has promised to file the new regulations with the Office of the Secretary of State on September 1, 2017 which will then become the effective date. The OEC will be moving forward with its plan to implement the new regulations which will include a mailing of a plain language summary of the changes to all licensed youth camps, making revisions to the licensing forms/documents on the website, and offering forums in the fall to educate youth camps of the changes. Once the regulations are filed on September 1, 2017, they will be posted on our website along with updated information.
