OEC is seeking proposals for evidence-based home visiting programs

Last updated September 1, 2020

The Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC) is seeking proposals from private and public organizations to implement home visiting programs that prioritize prenatal and infant enrollment using an evidence-based home visiting model. OEC is seeking to develop a home visiting system that promotes healthy births, enhances child development and positive parenting practices, and prevents child maltreatment. This includes a focus on targeting mothers and fathers prenatally for enrollment, and/or that are under the age of 20, and/or come from racial/ethnic communities most likely to experience adverse birth outcomes.
