OEC New Policy Alert: Remove Blankets From Cribs for Infants under Twelve Months

Last updated August 17, 2020

The Office of Early Childhood has adopted a new policy that requires licensed child care programs to remove all blankets from cribs when infants under 12 months of age are placed to sleep. To support providers with implementation of this new policy, the agency will be providing sleep sacks to Connecticut licensed child care programs this summer.
