Sample Policies, Plans and Procedures

The regulations that govern licensed Child Care Centers and Group Child Care Homes require that programs develop and implement certain policies, plans and procedures.  Such policies, plans and procedures include specified components as outlined in the regulations.  The attached “samples”  include minimum requirements as well as samples that may be helpful, but are not ‘required.’ These samples are a guide to help programs develop their own policies, plans and procedures, specific to their own programs.  A checklist ‘Tool’ is also available at the end of the document.
