What is the Wage Supports program?
It’s an OEC initiative that offers payments to benefit staff at all licensed child care centers, group homes, family child care homes, and license-exempt child care programs that receive School Readiness funding. All eligible programs will receive applications in early March.
In our recent webinars, we focused specifically on the optional bonus that programs can access: the Registry Bonus. The requirement for getting this bonus is to make sure all relevant staff have active and up-to-date accounts in the Connecticut Early Childhood Professional Registry by March 31, 2023.
