State Head Start Supplement Grant Provider Resources

The State Head Start Supplement grant is established in Section 10-16n of the Connecticut General Statutes. These supplemental grant funds support federal Head Start programs throughout Connecticut to expand or enhance the services they provide to preschool children and families.

Reporting requirements

All State Head Start programs are required to submit reports and forms to OEC to support grant compliance and monitoring. Data Submission and Reporting Requirements are detailed in OEC General Policy A-03.

State Head Start grantees are required to enter (or upload) child enrollment data and submit monthly reports on the utilization of spaces via Early Care and Education (ECE) Reporter.
