The State Head Start Supplement grant was established in Section 10-16n of the Connecticut General Statutes. These supplemental grant funds supported federal Head Start programs throughout Connecticut to expand or enhance the services they provide to preschool children and families.
Reporting requirements
All State Head Start programs were required to submit reports and forms to OEC to support grant compliance and monitoring. Data Submission and Reporting Requirements are detailed in OEC General Policy A-03.
State Head Start grantees were required to provide child enrollment data and submit monthly reports on the utilization of spaces via Early Care and Education (ECE) Reporter.
