OEC-21-CT Home Visiting System RFP Update
The Office of Early Childhood has posted the OEC-21-CT Home Visiting System RFP Awardees!
OEC created this RFP — which is now closed — to help focus our system and move the system “upstream” to address family needs and service gaps throughout the state. The vision laid out in this Request For Proposals (RFP) focuses on three key outcomes:
- Improving healthy births for babies and mothers
- Improving child development and parenting practices
- Reducing child maltreatment
In our journey towards becoming a state with more just and equitable outcomes, this also means a shift towards:
- Prioritizing prenatal enrollments
- Mothers and fathers under the age of 20
- Mothers and fathers who come from racial/ethnic communities disproportionately likely to experience adverse birth outcomes
